Nullsleep (8bitpeoples) performs using Game Boys and modified Nintendo Entertainment System consoles, creating a conceptually unique blend of subversive hardware hacking with innocent melodicism. Nullsleep is the cofounder and administrator of the 8bitpeoples collective, and has performed in the US and abroad.

Bit Shifter (555 Recordings, 8bitpeoples) performs high energy, low-resolution electronics using Game Boys, in service of a sound that's alternately beat-heavy and melodic, and frequently both. Bit Shifter's debut CD Life's A Bit Shifter was released in 2004 to wide acclaim, and he performs frequently in New York and elsewhere.
